The players I think have made the biggest difference to our team this year in my Opinion have been M'au , edwards and Gower.I know Peats has been good for us and Semi has scored alot of tries but hard running, tough defence and offloading that these 3 have brought the team has added another dimension to the team.Time after time especially when the rest of the team has been tiring, M'au especially has sparked the team with a big run or big hit. These new eels dont come from the losing culture that infected the Eels over the last few seasons and their enthusiasm is spreading.Go eels

  • Brad Arthurs

    • I agree BA has made a huge difference
    • Theres only 1 Arthur TBUR

  • Ricky Stuart by not being here.

    • You can also add Reni Maitua, Ben Roberts and Matt Keating to that list.

  • Brad Arthur & the new broom is the biggest difference for me. Any player mentioned here before that is like an egg hatching without a chook.

    • Yes for sure we have added some excellent players this year and no doubt they have made a huge difference but I really admire the way Brad Arthur has been able to work with individuals to improve their games and turn them into valuable team members. One of our biggest problems last year was Sandows inability to tackle but this year he has been brilliant noting last nights tackle on Taumalolo who was one of cowboys biggest and best. Likewise Joseph has been changed from a floater to a critical linkman giving us a very dynamic set of backline plays as well as a tough tackler and hard runner. His transformation has been amazing. Kearney and Stuart had no idea how to improve their players whatsoever. These guys didnt even recognise the weakness in Matt Keatings dummy half play let alone do anything to improve this part of his game. Maybe Brad could have helped him too. He now needs to put some old heads on young shoulders as soon as possible and when he does we will kill it.

    • Ummm you should look a little further up the screen Micky.....lol.....

  • Tough defence? You won't find a tougher defender in the club than Nathan Peats
  • Sandow and Norman ,, made life easier 4 hayne, where his playing a real fullback role and doesn't have to do everything
