Over the years we have had the following Manly players. ( I probably have missed some)

Jeff Robson, played in 2009 Grand Final. Although not spectacular was safe and didn't cost us a lot.

Darcy Lussick cost us a bit and was either injured or suspended and gave away a lot of penalties.

Daniel Harrison, didn't cost much but rarely used.

Anthony Watmough. Cost us zillions and was carrying injuries when he came here. Spent a lot of time of the field injured.

Keiran Foran another to cost us plenty has only paid a hand full of games. Has personal issues which I certainly hope he can overcome.

Clint Gutherson. We didn't break the bank for him and I think he is by far the best value Manly Player we have had so far.

There are probably other Manly players I have missed.

Parramatta players to Manly. 1st of all Jamie Lyon, who missed all his mates at Wee Waa as well as pig shooting, that is why he left Parramatta. He Could not find any wild pigs in the north of England and eventually went to Many where he found plenty of pigs. However he did have a great career at Manly winning 3 premierships.

Then a promising David Williams who went on to play a test for Australia as well as 1 SOO.

Tony Williams who also became a representative player at Manly

Jorge Tafua has had reasonable success.

Chad Robinson,Justin Horo,Faleti Mateo and Fabian Goodall, none of who have succeeded there.

Overall I think Manly have had the better of exchange of players.

If I have missed anyone  I am sorry.

  • Peter Peters. I'm confident we are are on the right side of that transfer.
  • David Gower has been a solid buy and has proven to be a very reliable player without breaking the bank too
    • Sorry. I forgot about him. He has been a great buy

  • James Hasson - cost nothing, done nothing.

Better value than any player is BA. Shown this year by the way he is dealt with everything and galvanised the team that he is a great man manager. With our start before the turmoil has also proven he can coach when he has a decent roster. Didn't cost a lot and trumps any of the players lost. If it wasn't for some great back pedalling we would be stuck with Jason Taylor
    • He pretty much just served an apprenticeship there.
  • Manly - they won premierships.
  • Manly but we will get the last laugh when Foran gets his head right and comes back and wins us a Comp.

U missed Mateo who was much better at parra then manly. And horo who was about the same at manly.
  • Manly easy they got Jamie Lyons tony Williams Faleti mateo Justin horo  goodall we got Choc played about 12 games Got foran played 5 games doing will so far but thing go up from here got Gutherson played every game so far that about it so manly win easy

  • Manly have won two premierships, they win this easily.

  • Manly also got Ray Higgs and Geoff Gerard from us. Two Australian reps.
