In his press conference, Stephen Kearney commented that only four of five players had performed consistently throughout the start of this season. Who do you think he would be referring to? I'm not including Jarryd due to his lack of football thus far.
For me:
Ken Sio. Consistently makes good metres from dummy half and while he shows his inexperience from time-to-time, he's lived up to the positive impression had on him at the start of the season.
Mitchell Allgood. Can't believe the poster who claimed he was in career-worst form. I think he's been consistently excellent this year, bar his few mistakes in that last game. Constantly gets over the advantage line and I think he's earned his crack at the rep level.
Tim Mannah. Hasn't had a bad game. Doesn't matter where he's thrown in, he just bullocks his way forward.
Matt Keating. Has been ultra-consistent, has found the confidence to run and he's getting out of dummy half and engaging the markers much more wisely this year.
Hindy, Fuifui would go down as players who have been mostly good, and I think Justin Poore has had a dig this year as well. I guess that's the problem, though isn't it. When you can only name four players as having been consistent over the course of your first third of football, and probably another three who have been mostly good it's pretty obvious why the results aren't coming our way.

I don't think Hindy has been earning his keep. How come he ran hard in the All Stars game but hasn't done it for Parra? Honestly, Hindy running the ball is a waste of a hit up. He also has a sour attitude this year from what I can tell from interviews, the footy show, and him being disrespectful to the refs.
sio, roberts allgood, fuifui, manah, hindmarshand i think blairs been fair too also keating
Probably cause he had other defenders around him that helped, so he had more in the tank, at the moment something we dont have.
Matt Keating has been earning his keep, he has been performing above the Matt Keating standard of NRL PAR.
Ken Sio, Young & inexperienced performed above his experience level
Ben Roberts, has produced more diamonds than rocks, above expectations
Mitchell Allgood, slightly above PAR, tries hard, needs more strength.
Fui Fui, plays better when he starts, gets the sulks when he is on the bench, Fui mostly always puts in
Hayne, irrespective of his lower playing time, when playing he is so far and away superior to any other player we have that he has to be included, his defensive efforts against the Sharks and his commitment when he threw that flick pass knowing that it would expose his unprotected chest to the defensive line should forever put to bed the ludicrous label of Princess that less intelligent trolls label him with.
Hindy, Always plays to the best of his ability, diminishing that it it is.
So that's 7 /17 putting in to the level they are capable of AND PEOPLE WONDER WHY WE ARE STONE MOTHERLESS LAST.
Disagree on Tim Mannah. Not until the Manly game did I see Tim the SOO level player, prior to that he was not hitting the line with anything like last years commitment. He is a SOO player so I expect that level from him, he has been below SOO PAR
Agree with all above Bobby.
I was calling Hayne Princess last year as he was one LAST YEAR.
Doesn't matter, we have lost all but one game and are on the bottom of the ladder.
Fui, Hindy, keating, Roberts, sio, mannah, Poore, hayne, allgood, reni, and yes even sandow in the first five weeks have been playing well....., that's 11/17....
No excuses Kearney, maybe it's you that is under performing
Des hasler doesn't seem to be having much trouble with his wooden spooner quality team
it's still early mate, judge them from where they finish, not where they begin.
