Justin Holbrook 13 wins 2 losses at St Helens this year & made the final four in the Super league play offs in 17.
He also knows our development systems having coached here previously
Took our 20s to the finals before being poached by the Roosters - he's my pick if available.
Have an experienced head of coaching ( SMITH) above him.
Bar Daley and Holbrook they would all do better than BA , for the situation the eels are in Smith is the only option.
He needs to come in for 2 years and rebuild the club from the ground up then find the right coach to take over with Smith to be footy manager .
The Way Brad Arthur had totally fucked our footy club we need a a experienced coach who knows what he is doing , No point getting a untried dope because that it what got us in this mess in the first place .
We need to first totally dismantle the Arthur era before we look to be competitive

Realistically of the available people I would go in this order.
1.Maguire
2.Toovey
3.Hasler
4.Taylor
Brian Smith should be considered but I doubt he would be interested in a coaching role. If he was then I would definitely give him the assignment of fixing the joint then offloading to someone else and then take on the Football Managers role. You could then bring in the best young coach and get Smithy to help.
