Which players do you think are most under pressure to keep their spot next year? For me Gower, De gois, and Pauli are the players who are most under threat from players coming through the ranks. We've seen that BA won't hesitate to promote players and them a go. Amazingly, Alvaro looks like he's already claimed a spot on the bench with his handful of impressive performances this year.
A lot will depend on what type of footy BA wants the team to play and what role particular players will be required to perform. Gower's versatility and his ability to offload and pass the ball may save him. Pauli's a bit similar, and BA may choose to only go with one of these players. If we're going to go with two hookers, De gois will face pressure from Pritchard. Personally I'd go with Kaysa due to him being faster and more agile than Isaac. We also have a lot more experience in the team now, so Isaac isn't required as much. With Edwards coming back, we are going to have a lot of competition for spots, especially if some of our juniors excel as Wenty and come into consideration for first grade, like Twal. What other players do you think need to lift their game to stay in the NRL team?
