I'll start with Clint Gutherson, I think he will destroy teams in last 20 min , he is superfit and endurance is his bread and butter.
I always thought Gutho would be good at AFL because of fitness and skill.
be interesting to see what everyone else thinks??

  • Moses and Brown should both be looking to run at any opportunity, there should be holes all over the park.

  • Well...the new rules will benefit the players who can play heads up footy e.g. Cook and Api Korisau.

The question is why don't we feature in this video as an example of heads up footy

  • Gutho us the obvious one, but I'll throw in a guy like Ray Stone. The new rules are going to create a role for small forwards with big engines. Now we don't know if Stone has a big engine or not, but until now he's struggled with what his best position was, now he might have one.

    • Agree re Stone, I would like to see him in the 2nd row, or at lock, I can still remember seeing him in a state comp against QLD team, he came on and blitzed the opposition with his speed and running from the forwards.  A few years since then and in the same game he showed his class in defense as well. The problem in some ways with him is size for a forward, as he's lighter than some of the backs especially the wingers and centres.
