Which is worse???

In the words of the great Ricky Bobby, 'If you're not first you're last' or even that old saying 'Second is the first loser' these sayings got me thinking. Is it better to be a Parramatta supporter or a St George supporter going into the last week of regular season footy? As for the eels, we have been poor all season and there has been minimal expectations and therefore minimal hope. Yes it is terrible and not much, if anything to celebrate, but we have known what to expect.Or if your a dragons supporter you had much hope throughout a big portion of the year, only to start to struggle terribly in recent week, much like the panthers. Yes they will play finals footy but seriously they are done. So, having lost our last 2 GF appearances is it better to not be even close or having hope but capitulating terribly when it counts? In some ways finals are more enjoyable when your team isnt there (only in some ways)

  • It's certainly much less stressful when your team is not there! Agree though, the Saints are cooked. I'd hate to be a Saints supporter as they are perennial chokers.

    • If I had my time all over again I would have be a supporter of the Roosters any body but Parramatta so sick of watching us lose and we win we win the spoon
  • Which is worse?, definitely us. Nothing is worse than finishing last, especially when it has happened 14 times now. I think by memory, St George have finished last only 3 times since their foundation in 1921.

People go on about how they are chokers but I believe they passed that honour onto us after they won the premiership in 2010 ending their 31 year drought. Until we win another premiership we are the official reigning chokers, if by that stage Canberra haven't won it, then we will pass the flame onto them.

If you are asking is it better to be close to winning or not. Call me crazy but give me the days of when we made 3 preliminary finals in a row and lost all of them, or the other preliminary final losses, at least we didn't finish last.
  • I would rather we won nothing than getting the spoon.

  • why don't we gift wrap B.A and drop him over to the dragons...……..I bet they will love us even more then!

  • LOL Webby this threads a good example of just how bad its got for some eels fans.

  • Almost like asking would u rather -
1 Premiership in 10 years with 9 years of not making finals
or 10 finals appearances with no premiership?
  • It'd be worse being a Dragons supporter.... Because they're ALL fcukwits

  • How good are Greta Van Fleet?

I thought rock may have been dead but it's f*****g not! These lads have got the ghost of Zeppelin coursing through their veins.

First full album due out shorty.

Check out their new single, When The Curtain Falls.

And if you haven't heard Highway Tune, give that a whirl too :)

"True. Richard was good too. I expect him at some stage this year to be thrown a first grade jersery to cover for injuries/ suspension.
In general out junior stocks look top stuff and it hasnt been that way for over 20 years with the 2001 baby Eels."
