Where were you when the world stopped turning?

Where were you on that September day? Today is the 10 year anniversary for the 9/11 terrorist attacks and my heart still goes out to all the people who lost their lives on that fateful day. I actually remember the day reasonably well, I was 6 at the time and it was about 7pm when I first heard what was happening. I didn't understand what actually happened until I was older but it was complete and utter devastation. In 2008 I travelled to America and whilst I was in New York I visited Ground Zero. Even though building had begun, the museum across the street was eerily quiet, when you walked in you could feel what had occurred. You could listen to the 911 calls and the radio contact between emergency services, this really hit home. R.I.P to all the victims of 9/11.

P.S this is not a blog to comment on conspiracy theories about 9/11.

  • Surely everyone knows by now who is really responsible and why 9/11 occurred.
    • Yes we do

If there own army admits it, its gotta be true

  • I'm not going to start arguing about conspiracy theories with you okay.
  • Okay, we'll discuss it. As I understand it the main conspiracy theory is that charges were planted inside the WTC and were detonated when the planes hit. This is based on circumstancial evidence which states that there was a security breach the day before and also that the towers collapsed straight down. I won't comment on where the supposed bombs were planted but towers which are built in high rise areas are built so that if they do collapse, they collapse straight down and hopefully cause minimal damage. As for the Pentagon, I'd like to hear your theories.
    • Whatever makes you sleep at night.
  • That's because often when I begin to discuss something it turns into an argument.
  • Far out you must have had inside info that Sep 11 was gonna happen because I'm 42 years old and also remember it very clearly and I remember that this happened late Aust time which was around 10pm, not 7pm but anyway. One more thing if we were gonna discuss conspiracy theories we will have the biggest blog in the history of 1eyedeel because there is a million theories. Anyway why are we talking about this when we should be talking rugby league. End of subject.
    • Okay we'll go with 10pm, my maths isn't that good.
  • the new world order is well on its way
  • oh this blog wasn't about the 2001 nrl grandfinal.
