IMO, In the 10 minute period, Opacic was binned & we managed to go set for set, had field position in their 20m, but still trying to score off every play, resulting in a 7 tackle set & opposition try.
All that was needed was to wind the clock down conceding zero points until we were back to 13 on 13. That's Melbourne Storm 101.
So frustrating, that we are so close, but still so far away from being a genuine premiership contender.
I will add, Mahoney's 3rd tackle kick in a attacking position early in the game that directly led to a try down our end, is typical of a team full of mistake riddled individuals, and a coach that does not hold them accountable for such costly f%#k ups that happen every week.
The Roosters didn't win that game, we lost it.

You can hardly blame Gutho for the Walker try. We were already a man down a Papali was out of the defensive line for whatever reason. Gutho righty moved up into the defensive line. Great vision from Walker
yep 100%.
I wasnt happy with the forward Roosters pass for a try either.
Gutho rarely makes mistakes like he did with that grubber - and it was a bugger of a bounce.
He was out of position because for the Sam Walker try because he was defending in the line due to Opacic being in the bin - and probably needed to because even with 13, our defence sucks!
