"Michael, you are dumb. Doesn't mean you are a bad bloke.
The whole game of managing a roster is value for money. Will Penisni gets paid the same as the great Centres in the game and he isn't one. Move him on, it's not harder than that. Hos brother…"

It's a Friday night at start of long weekend. People may have been going away. On top of that it was very cold and weather through afternoon looked very un predictable and almost everyone I know including my whole family have been sick with colds and flus. We also got well beaten last week. We played a NQLD team with no supporter s what so ever. When they scored their last try to get back in game the silence was deafening.
I heard mmm carrying on about what an ordinary effort from Parra fans and it annoyed me. They clearly not aware we have been pulling some decent crowds consistently this year and there was a fair few logical contributing factors. I usually go regardless of weather bit we almost gave it a miss due to weather cause whole family been sick. The only thing that pushed me was delayed telecast. Glad cause it was great entertainment.
I heard that forecast and it was a disgrace what one of the commentators said. They went on how the Panthers had a sell out last week and Parramatta fans should be ashamed of themselves. They went on to say that unless you have 5 kids and live 30 kms away you should be there if you call yourself a fan. They then said get off the pokies and having a dart and get to see the game! Seriously how insulting.I got to the majority of games and was there last week. There were 5 to 7000 parra fans I reckon at Penrith ,so we were close to a third of the crowd. As Timbo says,I was convinced I was in for a long evening as was raining all day where I was.We had a shocking perfomance last week and maybe some people had actually chosen to go to that game instead of this. Also in the group of people I go with ,a few went to Pet Shop Boys, someone out the country, another guy just came with one kid as opposed to the whole family. It is a Friday night. These people are season ticket holders and normally there.Sure similat examples all around the ground. We consistently get reasonable numbers. How dare these commentators condemn fans when they are paid to got to the game and I seriously wonder how many games they would go to if it wasnt their job. Also 500,000 Parramatta fans.. Jeez I'm always getting plenty of go Parra as walk to the game.. dont mean the people are going to game or even watching!
GO PARRA

It was suppose to be the match that we gave it to them after salary cap issues from 09. Everyone was going to be there. We got about 8,000.
That was disgusting.
Last night would of been better if we put them away much earlier.
Yeh, as a season ticket holder who barely misses a game at home I was pretty pissed off at some of the remarks they made.
