where to now for jarryd?

So my limited understanding of the NFL is that now that jarryd has been waived he has 24 hrs to be picked up by another team.If he doesn't here is what i think will happen.Signs with rugby makes the Olympics 7s side. Than super rugby and wallabies for 3 years. World cup.Returns to the eels at 34 to have one last season. Wins comp.Or signs with roosters witch has always bern on the cards.

  • Ok I'm a casual NFL fan learning as i go this year
  • Practice team? Lol A champion NRL player is in a practice team.

    • Lol a million dollar a season NRL player signing onto NFL for a fraction of the pay?
  • Do they want to keep him?? Has anyone said that? Inside info??

I'm happy if that's the case. He has had a taste and knows what he needs to learn. As long as he isn't warehoused and never sees a starting line up again. Short term, this is what i expected and was surprised when they threw him straight in.

    • Most weekend waivers are an attempt to sneak one through to the scout team, so I'd say they want to keep him.

Would like to see him go to the Colts, but they don't need him, unless he can put on 100kg and play O-Line!

  • It'll be interesting to see how interested Seattle are in him now. If they pick him up he could actually be better off. The 49ers are pretty hopeless atm.
  • Who cares! He is on his journey so be it.

  • interesting , lots could go down now, i doubt hayne would now after being cut, stay around at the 49's.

most of all after he has had a run in with the coach a few weeks back.

haynes 27  , and wont stay there, the most likely is the sea hawks may pick him up or another nefl team in the next 48 hours , that also surely unlikey .

so whats next, a return to the nrl , with the roosters which has been the rumours ,the money would be great under a good coach and a good team, also they need a top fullback, parras out ,  then there is rugby ,

hayne had it all going with the media till now in the nfl, in my view he will return better after this , in the nrl or  rugby , least the hayne plane gave it a go.good luck.

    • he will be on there practice squad but they chop and change everyweek doubt he'll be there by seasons end, if he passes Free Agency without a contract he'll come home
and im sorry but you say Parramatta is out? if they are out how can Roosters afford him, they should be out too

    • Not so sure he would be same player. They forced him to change his running style, seriously, who does that? Also his fend disappeared and he quickly became a normal NFL player, no fend, no sidestep, no shimmy and no swerve. Imo that is what happened to him, all his skills disappeared quicker than his NFL career.
