Where to in 2019

I realy think were in for a horrid season and will finish bottom 4.

Eels will struggle to attract new talent, doubt there are any players who would want to come to Parra while we are getting flogged all across the padock. We have the worst stats in all aspects of the game.

So in 2019 we will have the same team, and maybe same coach. When should the club move BA on, if he is still here after round 13 and we have not improved, to late then.

A new coach wwill need 2 yrs to get rid of BA,s shit and build the team he wants. That means 2021 we will be competive again. And that pisses me off.

  • Yeah yeah we were going to finish bottom four last year as well. How did that turn out?

    • I tipped us for 4th spot last year, watch and learn pou.

    • Yeah. Last year we started really slow. The defense was there last week. 4 penalty goals. Sharks only got one try as well. What worries me was the lack of props. We had one on the bench. Alvaro. Evan's got injured so we had 2 props. Brown seemed to be the only one doing hitups apart from the backs.
  • We are only 3 rounds in and people continue to put rubbish up like this. Where is the faith? Seriously..things arent great at the moment but they will turn. Fans are turning on the club and it makes me sick. I used the word 'fans' because that's all they are. They are not true supporters of the club. Fans come and go, but true supporters stick solid through thick and thin. It's easy to be critical from where we sit, but a little positivity goes a long way. I'm in it for the long haul, as I'm sure all true Parra supporters are.
    • Well said. There are plenty of other teams out there for those who want instant gratification. Follow Melbourne, they are always winning grand finals.

    • Mick, no point in signing players for to sack them, might help their pockets a bit though.

  • The next two weeks will be telling. If we can’t win both those games (Tigers with a backup half and Penrith with no Cleary) we probably are in for a long season. I’m expecting to win them both.

    • Agreed. We should and need to win the bext two. If we can get a win hopefully the boys will be revitalised and get the season going. If we don't, it will be a very ling season.
  • The sooner Brad Arthur and some of the players are gone the better, UNLESS they can turn it around 100% this year which would at least incorporating winning the next 4 games at least.

    • Monto,  again I ask the question, who do you replace BA with?
