Where to from here?

With the Eels season in disarray from all angles there will no doubt be discussions internally as to how to proceed for the rest of the season.With the possibility of playing finals football all but removed from the equation if the NRL hands down a 12 point deduction, what is the best thing to focus on for the remainder of the year?Do we experiment with the spine and give some young guns a go? With Paulos release and Foran out for the season there's probably some cap relief on the cards for this season we can use to blood some young uns.Do we attempt to bring forward some contracts and use the written off season to benefit us in future years?Do we experiment with new styles of play and tactics essentially treating games more like trial games for next season?If you were in charge (and I hear those positions may be vacant soon so you've got a chance!) what would you do for the rest of the season assuming we cop the 12 point deduction?

If our second tier cap lets us, I wouldn't mind seeing doolan/twal and a few junours coming and play a few games

French as well, that way they get a taste of first grade and will be sweet for next year

Someone explain what happens with our cap now that Foran's season is over. IE second tier etc? do we get some relief from next year?

  I think you can get an exemption when you have injuries but have no really options within the top 25. But it must be like for like.

  Similar to last season when we had 3 hookers injured we got an exemption to play Nelson from the 2nd tier till a hooker top 25 squad hooker was fit.
  Seeing as we have no options a player from outside the cap should be allowed untill takka or cornish return.

The first thing this season is to sort the board out and appoint a qualified CEO. Our coaching staff is excellent in in place.Maybe appoint someone like Ian Shubert to a senior position at head office.

For the team we can blood a couple of the guys that possibly will be here in 2017 such as Bevan French and Alex twai.

Treat each game like a grand final, play hard and make other teams fear us again and absolutely stick it up the NRL with our performances.

lol. Price.F.E. That's exactly what
I have been thinking also why
not use and have our under 20's
Playing not all at once, but we
do have great players as French
showed every body.

Example J.Folau, Twal, Cornish,
I believe the best part of all was
that Brad.Arthur was training
All those boy's and other rival
club's were trying to grab French,
Twal and others.

Now is the time to start them
they may be young but they
are fast and strong.

I also heard late mail on Monday
night! That because we had so
many injuries and that Forun',
will not be able to play for rest
of this season Gordon was asked
not to leave the Eels agreed to
stay. Now I'm hearing that Beau
is suppose to be leaving.

the papers have got anything
to write about so there making
anything and everything up.
