Where's the media?

I find it funny that for the last week since the Foran fiasco broke every media outlet and personality has been going to town on how bad our management is. They've been pulling themselves while they release new stories and problems about us everyday right up to game day. We have a good and now not a word, not even about Foran. Clearly it doesn't matter how bad the board is no one cares whilst you're winning. Manlys board was almost as bad as ours but the media never even mentioned them until they started losing this year.Obviously the secret is to keep winning games and the germs will find another basket case to latch onto lol.

    Haha we are definitely in a league of our own there, but they've had well documented issues but I think the fact that their team has been consistently winning for the last 10 years has over shadowed their boards issues. I'm sure they'll do something stupid ago soon

    You mean like having professional businessmen on their board like Delmege and Penn? The ones who all hated each other and let the team fall to pieces and leave it at the bottom of the ladder? Our board is 8 weeks old. How about you leave it to do its job, especially at the moment, and vote against them in 18 months if they are not up to it. get into the trenches Fong and help your club right now when it needs your support. I'm in the trenches, are you?

    You're well off with this comment Fong. Manly's board absolutely contributed to ripping that club apart. Players were continually used as pawns in the battle between the two factions. They initiated a slide from perennial Top four to bottom of the table. That's an EPIC fail of far greater magnitude than anythign the current board is responsible for.

    Wasn't it past boards that have made our cap issues and this board brought it to everyone's attention so as not to have a storm incident?

    I was under the impression the playing group was also split along boardroom lines as well. They've gotten away with it for years due to their roster but now it's all catching up.
