Where has the money gone

I heard it's something like 95% of the salary cap that needs to be spent each year. With only 5% being allowed to be carried over to the next season. With all the roster turnover that has happened, where has the money gone? Has it really been spent on resigning our current players like Iongi, Ryley as the most notable resignings as well as on the lone signing of Sua. Is it possible that we resigned Iongi for a far bigger deal then we have expected?

With all the recruitment failures they are probably front loading a bunch of contracts.

I wouldn't be surprised if Iongi is on close to million and in the backend of his deal he's on a lot less

    Iongi is going to continue to improve and will be a star in the nrl. He's on a good deal cause in 2-3 years he'll be playing like a 1 mill+ guy

      Is he really though ?
      
      We are talking about a player that was burned by Dylan Lucas a few weeks back, he is playing in a position that requires genuine speed.
      
      Yeah he makes 200m a week and the effort is there but you need more than that from fullbacks these days, especially when we have an overrated halfback that can't set up a try.

        He'll continue to grow, add to his game. Maybe an actual spine around him might help like a 5/8 9 and Moses at 7 lol. But he looks a future star to me.

        False. Look at Reece Walsh right now playing like a busted. Doesn't mean he isn't talented lol. Just the structure and lack of talent outside him means defences can target him when he sweeps. No threats outside him

        If Iongi is relying on others around him to make him look good he is far from a star.
        
        Jarryd Hayne was a star, no matter the circumstance he always shone.
