I am disappointed with the club because they have provided us fans with minimal information on the suspension and injuries of many of our players. RCG and Lane are the only two players we have informaton on. The top 30 contract players and development contract players who are not listed in any team lists include:
- RCG
- Lane
- Sam Loizou
- Waqa Blake
- Jack Murchie
- Matt Doorey
- Mitch Rein
- Toni Mataele (development contract)
- Blaze Talagi (development contract)
- Jabriel Kalache (development contract)
Thats 7 injuries/suspension to our top 30 players but to us and the media we only have two injuries and thats it.

I have said this several times this season. The club's online (any format really) info to members & fans is appalling.
They have obviously saved money by NOT hiring an electronic / social media team.
They actually have one of the best staffed digital and social teams.
But generally their priorities are elsewhere such as producing social content rather than updating the injuries.
I wish they'd at least update the injuries/suspensions list.
How hard is it to whack a few pics of guys training on Facebook and come up with the stupid gay Barbie shit we've seen from them ?
They may be "well" staffed , but their content is shithouse. They're certainly not the " best staffed " Can't believe that " content creators " is a thing . You could get a bunch of school kids to do that for free . I've seen better stuff here on these pages than what those muppets at our club vomit up .
If that's an area Phil's been involved with , he needs to rethink it . Not saying he is , but considering his passion is in this area , I'm taking a punt that he's advised them ? I follow a few clubs , and ours is just ok. Not shocking , but if we are well staffed compared to others then I'm not seeing anything that warrants it .
From my knowledge it's not something Phil's been involved with.
And I've had this very discussion with a number of people at the club about there needing to be better content on social pages and the website. That I feel not enough is being done to produce the type of engaging content other clubs do.
generally their priorities are elsewhere
Unfortunately, that seems to be the whole issue with the football side of house.
We are fast becoming like Telstra - fuck the existing customers (members) it's all about appealing to the potential new members
Once you are locked in fuck em.
This is a serious problem! There is basically no information about anything at all. Members and fans are being treated like shit. Our Cup side is inept in just about every way, and our NRL side has gone backwards at a rate of knots. And we have 2 vacancies in our roster for the year. What is the plan and is there even one? Who are these people responsible for this calamity? There is no accountability whatsoever. Our club seems to be retrograding to the bad old days. I
PS do we have a sports psychologist working full time with our teams and individuals? If not, why not?
If we do it's probably some cheap bonehead that we've "stolen" from The Tigers , working remotley from some WeWork office sharing caravan on the side of the road. If they're not ex tigers they'd be ex Dragons.
Don't worry about the players.....
They should provide the fans with psychological assistance. 37 years can make you lose any semblance of sanity.
