I live on the Central coast and travelled down to watch the boys smash the dogs, the only disappointing thing was the lack of eels supporters at the game. Out of 30 thousand fans I think Parra had about 8 or 9 thousand fans at the game, so common guys lets get behind our boys against the Tigers and pack out ANZ, go the mighty eels.

And the worst ground to watch the footy at
Excuses.. Yes!
But ANZ stadium for me is just not a footy ground
Yes I can understand that it is expensive, but the poor crowd at the Cowboys game last week and then this week was a poor turn out as well. A grudge match against the dogs should have drawn 15 thousand eels fans, I have been following my eels for over 40 years and can honestly say we are one of the best supported clubs, I would hve thought with the side we have got would have drawn more support.
Stan the grounds not a favourite for eels fans even though its going to be our home ground for 2 years as of next year.
Its not a great ground for watching footy.
To add to that i think bulldogs crowds put families off going to the game, countless times ive heard people say they wont take their families to that game as they dont want to get on trains home or have to walk to the station amongst these dogs supporters, too many times they have seen them ganging up on families and kids, abusing them and getting very aggressive after games, i think all RL fans feel the same about the dogs.
What a pity, 30 years ago it was a great family club, these days its just so sad seeing whats happened, bullfrog would be rolling in his grave.
What makes u guys say its not a great ground for watching footy, I have been to some great games at ANZ, parra vs dogs with 74ooo at the semi, even the 50000 against the tigers on easter monday, I can honestly say in the games I have been to I havent seen to much trouble with fans
