When did you move out of home?

I know it isn't footy related, but I know there's some elderly folk on this site so I thought I'd turn to my fellow Eels supporters for some advice. My partner of 3 years and I are due to move out into our own place for the first time, I wouldn't say it's the strongest of relationships it I'm struggling to come to terms with it, but if excitement and a lot of anxiety. When did you guys move out with your partners? (I'm 21)

  • Couple spelling errors there guys, apologises, typing on phones isn't the easiest thing to do
  • If the relationship is not strong as you say, don't do it.I did that once (was cojoled in doing it) and regretted it wasting all that money on rents, bills etc

If your not happy now whilst living separately, it will only get worse when you'll move in.

    • Thanks for the advice, very appreciated
    • Agree with Parra on the hill. It will just expose the flaws in your relationship and you'll regret it. I've only ever lived with one partner, when I was 26, (I'm now 30) we though living together would solve all of our problems. Boy was I wrong! I moved out on my own (or with a flat mate) when I was 20, highly recommend you enjoy being independent first!
  • I moved out with my man when i was 21. He was 30

    • A few people have said that actually, so I better make sure I don't have them in my name
  • Hey dude, i didn't really move out my parents moved towns when i was 17, they left me at home with there mortgage and basically said good luck. Let me tell you that it forces you to grow up quick. Now im 24 looking back on it, it was the best thing to ever happen to me. Still to this day my parents live a 8 hour drive from me and i haven't lived with them since. Living so far away definitely test you.

Not sure how far you will live away but look to your parents for advice mate. Most likely they will have better advise then some of the halfwits on here.
