That's a good question without too many answers but lets answer the obvious:
- Way too many errors
- Lack of enthusiasm - only lasts 40 minutes
- Lack of speed
- Wrong personal
I cannot say how to fix the first two points but have some answers for the final two points.
- Folau didn't do too much wrong but conversely didn't appear to get very involved. I would replace with Goodall who is big but much more mobile to increase speed of backline. Unfortunately Hoppa is impossible to replace as no-one suitable imo for fb position. This limits our attacking options as Hoppa too slow for big sweeping movements.
- Pauli played very well for Wenty, played full 80 minutes I believe, was heavily involved in attack and defence and many good offloads. Moeroa had a solid game and should be promoted. Foa'aso needs more time in Wenty as made too many mistakes imo. Drop Paulo as just made too many errors today (about 3 I can remember) and Terepo as offers no variety in attack..

I agree with you mate. I thought Terepo wasn't bad, but he was just missing for most of the time. I wouldn't mind giving Robinson a go at fullback or even bring in Quinlan (that probably won't happen though). Next week, though, I'd give Robinson a go at fullback, Hoppa to the centres, give Goodall his debut in the centres (if Taka's not back) and Folau on the wing. If Taka is back, Goodall to play on the wing and Folau to Wenty. However, that's just me. :)
Forgot about Robinson to fullback so need good winger, unfortunately Folau just too slow imo. Unfortunately Lavaka didn't have a great game for Wenty but might if promoted. BA needs to make wholesale changes simple as that.
Team needs a shake up and BA needs to bite the bullet and try something different. My team for next week would be :
1 Nathan Davis
2 Lavaka
3 Hoppa
4 J. Falou
5 Robinson
6 Norman
7 Sandow (only until we get Foran than piss him off)
8 Mannah (c)
9 Peats
10 Lussick
11 Ma'u
12 Gower
13 Watmough
14 Pauli
15 Wicks
16 Moeroa
17 Alvaro
I hate to say it Good bye sandow good bye lussick good bye Hoppa good bye seffa for good
Well I think we are starting to see that Folau is NOT a FG centre - into the pack big boy.
Moeroa had a solid game and should be promoted.
FG is as high as you can go unless I am mistaken - PLUS - he is still playing injured.
Moeroa needs a few weeks back in u20s where he isn't going to be smashed around so much.
The coach has got to be looked at imo - this is getting worse - not better.
BA needs a White Board and Marker and start putting some names up in public.
We then need a Captain who can LEAD - not a metre eater who has NO MONGREL in him.
Little Timmy Timid gets hit with a high shot and what happens?
"I forgive you for your trespass my FRIEND."
The Coach is responsible for the handling errors - he is the one teaching them, is he not?
The coach is the one selecting nuffie no hearts to play,
The coach needs to "Please explain," and don't give us this usual crap about "Our own worst enemies."
That has become a very convenient excuse for this pathetic bunch of losers.
I am sorry people but I no longer have much faith in BA - too many mistakes - too many bad calls - and the team is in decline AGAIN !!!!!!!
