What Went Wrong

Just not good enough!

Kelly shit, Sandow either injured or having dummy spit (still better than Kelly), no speed in backs, Moeroa and Lussick let in 2 trys, Dogs just look better all over park.

Had probably best forward pack on park but ineffective against Dogs.

Just proves Parra need speedy backs (don't re-sign Hoppa) to go with the forwards and definitely need another good prop as Moeroa not the answer next year,. Still need a lot of work to do, had 56% of possession in first half and still only one try.

  • No halves, no speed in the backline. They were lucky that dogs were a little off their game. It could've been a hell of a lot worse.
    • We were lucky the Dogs didn't target our left side in the first half. It could have been 20-4 at halftime.

  • I know one thing that taka is way better than hoppa at a quarter of the price to.
  • Sandow missed more tackles than he made. It wouldn't matter if he set up three tries - every player on the field was better than Sandow.

    • Pou Sandow at his worst is better than Kelly at his best. Kelly is just not fg standard, and Sandow played very poorly last nite, like I said either injured or having a sook, and he didn't let in 5 trys all on his own. Actually Lussick and Moeroa, who seemed to play longside each other let in 2 trys without Sandow's help.

  • Our attack was shithouse because the Dogs defence was great.

  • Lussick let in two tries. Glen did you notice we tried inside passes in the second half against dogs big forwards too late foran would have split them in two with that amount of position in the first half.
  • Pritchard two try's , Jackson one try.
    • Did someone say backs .
  • First contact in defence was atrocious. One out hit ups with a total lack of support play.(watmoughs break case in point). No tactical nous in an abysmal attempt at a kicking game. Lack of effort, punctuated by lazy inside defence.kick chase in a broken line. Lack of direction in attack especially when attacking the opposition line, culminating in fifth tackle options being of a country reserve grade standard. The applying of pressure to ourselves rather than the opposition.Stifiling attack, resulting in flat miss timed passes to ball runners enabling the ball to hit the deck repeatedly.A stark lack of enthusiasm and an obvious disparity in a number of players efforts.
