Penalised for being Parramatta.
To make sure Parra has no chance of equalising - job well done.
What were the last 7 penalties for?
Geez it’s easy for a ref to decide a game.
It is time for captains challenge to penalties, but also time for the eels hierarchy to write to the NRL and Refs and question the way the eels have been penalised. Also makes one wonder what benefit the teams have in bringing in a ref each week at training to referee under match conditions, and then find them do the opposite on game day. Lull into a falsified sense of security or hope?
Captains challenge won't help as bunker will support the refs or stuff up calls as they are now. Team will lose challenge over stupid call then be further punished when ref makes more howlers against them knowing it can't be reviewed.
Apparently Norman was penalised for running Gagai off the ball - that's the same Gagai that ran through and took the ball almost without interference... sounds logical. See that guy that ran through and caught the ball, he was prevented from getting to the ball?!?!
Right up there with Peni hanging on to the ball but Sam Burgess yelling at the ref saying he dropped it so the ref then blowing the whistle.
