What was said in the change rooms?

According to Foxsports and other media outlets, Daniel Anderson left the dressing sheds at half time early to let the players speak among themselves.

Does anyone know what was said? Just curious. Im assuming it would of been something along the lines of 'well if you dont want to listen to me, how about you listen to yourselves and conjure up a plan' or some shiet like that.. Either that or he was just that fed up that the only things that would of come out of his mouth would've been negative and not so constructive.

I just hope he doesn't do this throughout the season otherwise the players may start to get the feeling that they are on their own..

Congratulations Hindy on your 266!!!

  • I think he would have said something along the lines of:

"we've trained hard all summer, you're all talented, but unless you start playing for each other - we will continue to lose. When you walk back in here after 80mins, you need to able to look into your team mates eyes, knowing you gave your all for them, and the mighty blue and gold"

    And then walked out
    • You reckon there was no f-bombs?
  • yeah it worked alright! Lucky Souths were playing like an under 13's girls team... but hot damn Tahu played strong today!!

And I liked how everytime Burgess had the ball Moimoi was there in his face... but overall, strong perfomance, silly handling errors, but at least they were hitting them hard...

I think maybe next game Ando should just do a Hassler if the Eels dont score first... lol
  • A lot of people at work today were complaining about the quality of the game but if you look at all of the dropped balls, about 80% were from big hits, they were really trying to hit each other hard out there.
    • Tahu's hit in particular on Jamie Simpson (I think it was), oh my!!! That gave me a tingly feeling down my spine.. Welcome back Tahu!!

I hope they continue now with their momentum, and bring some big hits to the milk stadium and smash them Cowgirls!
  • DA has a very short fuse. He is known to blow up delux in private and players have copped plenty from him this year. He wont cop fools and lets people know if they are not following the game plan. Some of his sprays are right up there and I know from people within the camp - that he doesn't hold back regardless of who you are.

Dont have a problem with the calm, mild persona in public and quite opposite when required in private. He has shown that he has the brains and BALLS to try things and ego's dont win football games. Young Mortimer has been the subject of some sprays this year but will be the better for it.

Doesnt matter if you get knocked down 4 times as long as you get up 5 times I say.

"We need a 5/8 who can be general kicker of the football.
Doueihi fits the bill as a signing, I love a big body 5/8.
if I'm the Eels I'm in the market for aggressive footballers , it's something that we lack significantly across the park.
