What the hell WAS ourstrategy tonight??-

Now I not one to buy into people’s own agendas about BA but - OMG what the hell was our strategy tonight!!! For starters wtf when Jennings can play either side of the field - and is a great defensive center - is he not switched to mark up on James Roberts. We all know taka is not the most mobile centre.As the game went on ———-As others has pointed out why was king and smith on at the same time with nuikore on the pine?—— Take the two points!!!???? Enough said——I know we had hiss and such but wtf was vave out there at the death when we need quick movement. Granted the fat f$&k made a break with 10s to Fonua come on surely we can manage a bench better than that—- broncos were poor on their edges all night with even Moeroa causing problems - have they ever thought of running gutho or French through those holes??—-Offloads anyone??? We looked good first half when we were offloading - then it seems we put the cue in the rack why?—— momentum - we had 7 penalties in a row and kicked for goal - I know I mentioned this above but it deserves its own mention and shows a fundamental misunderstanding of today’s game by our “coaches”. As we all saw that decision came from the sidelines not the players on the field.At the end of the day I don’t know who the f&$k is responsible - shit coaching or uncreative players. However anyone who watched the game - even though we did aim up - can see that it wasn’t king Benny’s strategy that beat us - it was our poor strategy that lost it. Here’s an idea eels board —— can we stop hiring ex storm coaches???Everyone thinks it’s bellamy but look at storm this year and especially without smith- Bellamy couldn’t coach nsw to a win and won’t be able to with storm next year but we keep taking his undergradsSorry for the rant arrgghhhh

Our strategy tonight was the same as most games this year... run on the field and see what happens. We are utterly void of strategy and game plan... and much of the time, logic as well.

I agree with a lot of your points.

I'm frustrated at the missed opportunities too. M Jennings has played 2 games this season now where he has done great lead up plays then failed to execute. He should have scored twice tonight. That sin bin was dumb too from a well seasoned veteran.

Did Vave and King come on for the last 5? I didn’t even know they were on until literally the last play. When Smith came on in the first half he and the team had no idea what his role was. He was standing at first receiver and was cut out by King on at least two occasions in an attacking position. Gutho had no clue what the plan was all night. Tried his guts out though. Niukore sat on the bench for far too long. Made a good couple of runs. Jennings has been taking handling lessons from Peni. Hell he makes Peni look like a handling god!

Looks to me like BA has no idea how to get us out of this slump and this rot is only going to continue.

If we took the 2 more in earlier games we would have an extra win or more on the table.
In hindsight it seems like bad idea but teams who take those 2 points have proven it is smart tactic. I hope going forward we don't get scared to do the same, as looking at tries scored we are miles behind in for and against with sides who scored similar or not many more trys.
