I thought this would be a great blog for the off season. When you sign up to the site you're asked if you've played rugby league. But given how many different people we have on here, I thought it'd be good to hear about the different variety of sports that people play or have played in the past.
I'll kick it off:
I played tennis for about 3-4 years as a kid.
I played soccer for 12 years from the age of 6, 11 of those years spent as a goal keeper.
I'm currently into my second year of OzTag, playing at halfback and hooker.
I'm also into my eighth year of cricket. I did start as an opening batsman but I prefer the middle order and I also roll my arm over on occasion.
I'm picking up rugby league next year and will be playing for Kelepi Tanginoa's junior club, the CVD Cobras.
Over to you guys.

Mainly played cricket as a kid, have played Indoor cricket for over 20 years and still play.
Played a few seasons of touch footy as well, also play golf and my handicap is around 12. Sadly thats about it.
Thought I might as well make my debut in posting, now's a good a time as any, and I'm fairly bored at work, so here I go!
Played Rugby league for a number of clubs, mostly the seven hill demons/kangaroos (up to a-grade), although played for both the lalor park kookas (c-grade) and the kellyville bushrangers (u16) for a year each, started playing on the wing, then moved into the centres, then decided to give playing lock a go, then second row, and even filled in at prop a few times when needed.
Squash- not competitively, just with my brothers once a week for fun/cardio
Karate- before my footy days as a kid
Swimming- my parents used to take me to swimming lessons when i was a kid, which grew into competitive swimming, ended up competing in the CSSA state championships for my school when I was 14. but didn't have any passion for it, so when it was my choice I gave it up and went to footy.
Martial Arts- Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and a range of others, during the off season for footy to keep fit and ready for my next season.
I've always been active, just love sports and competition, especially my rugby league and my parramatta eels. Looking forward to a big (hopefully) 2015.
Welcome aboard Wes.
I actually went to a regional swimming carnival for school and I hadn't got anywhere near qualifying. Long story short, all of our top swimmers were unavailable due to exams, I was free so they asked me. Next thing I know I'm swimming for the school in backstroke and only just missing out on a place in the 50 metres, finishing fourth.
Yeah, pretty much.
Cheers, been reading a fair bit and seen how "welcoming" you guys can be haha :P
All jokes aside, glad to be part of the 1EE blogging team.
Sincerely, Welcome Wes.
Doosh's get treated like douches.
