What sort of players do we need now

We have recruitment $ and should be competitive in the recruitment market.What sort of players do we lack?Kaysa is doing well - will he keep improving or do we need a hooker? There maybe some musical chairs of hookers around Sydney clubsWhat about Prop? We have a good diversity but do we need someone of Viliame Kikau's or Jordan McLean's body type - both off contract now? McLean probably won't get but what about Viliame ? Money talksCan we change Semi's mind and get a not guilty. Can George Jennings or Schulte step up or do we need to recruit eg Nofoaluma. Tigers could lose all of their big 4 and have uncertainty over who will coach next year - Nofoaluma may be persuaded.

    Too early to tell.
    I say wait for the early to mid season to unfold, then we can monitor the progress of Gutho at 6, how Kaysa is going and any long term or chronic injuries to key players.
    Right now, we have depth and the team is going well.

      Not our problem but for those whose job it is, they probably have had to start moving already for next year?

    Apparently very interested in nofoaluma but he's an absolute turnstile in defence.
    I reckon Jack Bird is the man but he wants to play either fullback or 5/8...

       Bird is off contract this year and has been offered $1.0 million a year by Newcastle. He is thinking about it closely. Still want to buy him? He is a competion winner if he playes as he did against the Raiders last weekend.

      Yep- his got great defence and attack and work ethic
      Just needs to stop treating it as a business
      Won't help if found guilty though

      I just hope he stays, he is undeniably the best winger in the game today and can split a defence line as well. He also posses the ability to draw in multiple defenders and then offload the ball.

    We need a big fast winger to try and replace semi as best we can. We need a better back up halfback at the 300k level. And we need a second rower with a good wide running game.
