What's with the soccer at training

Just looking at the training gallery for rd 26 on the parraeels site.

Again most of the training is with soccer balls.

For a team that is struggling with completions I would imagine that they should be sleeping with rugby league balls and told them they are not to drop the ball the whole week.

I'm sure there is a science behind it but I think they should stick with league balls at training.

  • Why is this an issue? Honestly, it's like you think they spend then entire session kicking around a football.

  • Every time I watch soccer I feel I'm not multicultural enough. I must say out loud during the game, "what are you doing, shoot the ball Vincenzo". Give me rugby league any day.

  • Must be training for Mad Monday, will be kicking empty beer cans pondering what could of been...

  • This is the biggest non-event since the blog about BA saying he didn't want to win the toss of the coin at the start of the match.

  • Some people jeez there playing a game in warm up it gets the blood pumping and the mussels moving. Plenty of teams play other sports iv seen the roosters playing cricket. The mariners playing touch footy. They do it as a warm up calm down people playing soccer isn't what cost us last week it was the fact the knights were better
    And the yellow jersey.
    • I thought it was just the yellow jersey, but that's just me....
  • Sack the ball boy for bringing the wrong ball to training
  • Though it seemed to work out ok on getting their mojo working before Manly game.

  • haha

  • I bet they don't even wear their jerseys off the field. It's an absolute disgrace, can't believe I'm supporting such a club

"Agreed. I won't renew him no matter how well he plays. He was still sketchy yesterday. He is a good impact bench player against tired edges and Moses slipping him balls. "

"Hmmm. The only in would be Moretti for me. Maybe. I'd let him maybe have more time in reggies first. I'd keep Guymer.
So basically, same team. Yes even De Belin. I want De Belin to be in the team first few rounds then things will change IMO. Him…"
