What's with the lame article about Parra and the Cap scandal

I know the NRL leaks stories about Parra as a tid for tat for prime back and front page coverage but seriously, todays front page was a beat up of a story.

The NRL have been auditing our salary cap. Are you telling me that any information that came out today wasn't included in there audit.

Big clue as to where the leak came from.

And this $39,000 to Jarryd Hayne. I fail to see how that is an issue. For starters, Hayne is not playing for our club. He is not subject to the salary cap.

I don't think the salary cap is supposed to limit payments to anyone other than players.

Here's a great way to cheat. Get one of the best players around. Tell him you go and play another sport. Don't play for us. We'll pay you $39 k. And yes we've have got around the salary cap.

Perhaps this is the key. Lets get all of our players not to play for us and that way we can cheat the TPA and pay players as much as we want.

You are kidding telegraph. Try a bit harder please.

    Only parra, st george, tigers and souths sell papers in sydney. Journos know this. Unfortunitely we are just an easy target at the moment. This discussion itself is proof the journos are having their desired affect. Not to mention the chatter on other teams forums. People just love reading about parra. People just love parra. Ive even noticed some weird dogs fan comes on this very forum. Just proves the point. People just love reading about and chatting about parra. I see all this attention as a compliment to how big this club is.

    The biggest problem is the sly dogs that leak this info to the media. They are lowest of low scum that have only self interest in all of this.

    I think the point was if "the money was owed to him" and was being paid at a later time, rather than when it should have initially been paid.
