Well thats the talk 60'S, but theres been constant talk all year about him coming back, it would be on huge bucks if he did, and im not sure im happy if the money we have all goes on somebody thats not a half.
Id rather save the cash and go all out for foran, although i dont think he will leave manly.
Foran said he wanted his future settled sooner rather than later - Toovey is saying it will take time to settle.
Penn is not going to sit on his hands for a coach who a lot of the team aren't real happy with.
Interesting times ahead for the Manly club.

The Eels options at centre and FB have improved - not world beaters but also not exactly nuffies.

I don't think we will have both Hoppa and Izzy in the same squad I think BA will have one or the other not both, I think the x factor to all this will still be the Hayne factor. Parra will have an idea what's doing with Hayne come April / May 2015 once spring training for the NFL is done and dusted and their rosters are complete.
Just prompted me to wonder - I wonder how a Foran/Hayne halves combination would go. Let's have Izzy at the back and Foran and Hayne in the halves!!!! *drool*
I personally can't see Folau coming back to League before the Olympics. If you've made the move to Rugby why on earth would anyone give up the chance to go to the Olympics, where Australia would be a very strong medal chance, and which is surely pretty much the ultimate dream of every athlete. I'm not even figuring Folau into calculations until 2017.
Last I heard, Australia were in a dogfight just to qualify for the Olympic 7's. From what I've read, only 12 teams will play the 7's in Brazil and Australia aren't considered a walk up start at this stage. I think they're about as much a medal chance as Parra are of winning the 2015 premiership tbh.
LOL Phil - obviously you haven't been watching the Wallabies lately if you reckon they are a medal chance at the Olympics.
ARU is in chronic need of a complete clean out before they will improve.
