What's the process with renewing but changing seats

We've got some horrible seats (after the membership team made a bad error with last years change of seating). I can't remember if I let the auto renew take place first (tonight) and then get a call to change seats or if I should cancel the auto renew and then contact them about new seats?


I couldn't get in touch with the Membership team today and it auto renews tonight.


We're *supposed* to be the first on the call sheet for changing seats after last years screw up but I'm not sure if i should trust that.

Anyone remember the process?

    Try first thing in the morning , I went through 8843 0308, which was a number I got after an earlier query. Left a message and did receive a call back. Good luck
  • Mate i think the auto renewal process is the first step, then you can request a seat change afterwards.
    • Yep. Members get first pick at seat changes in order or first in best dressed. Renew first, stick your name on the seat change request form and see how it goes.
  • Mate , spoke with them today as I was concerned about the seats being exposed to rain . Spoke to a young lady who said that the seats I was allocated would go to someone else and to try my luck in the new year. Really seemed disinterested in getting some sort of resolution. Don't know if I will renew now and just go on a game by game basis. Seems as though nothing has changed in that department and Bernie needs to bring in some professional people with customer focus and a "can do" attitude. She should never have let me go , just like the car dealer who says "what do we have to do to get some commitment TODAY ? before you walk out the door. Maybe her hands were tied, but the attitude from these guys from taking forever to return a message or never being able to get through when you ring , HAS TO CHANGE, to reflect the new regime !!!!
    • God that's crap service , they will lose a lot of faithfuls and potentials with that attitude!

    I do know that they have installed a new phone system. The previous one was puchased with the grand final cheque from 1986. They have had many issues with calls, messages and even knowing who is on the system to take calls.
  • Each week I talk with a customer who is a keen Parra supporter. It took him years to convince his wife to buy season tickets and they have now had them for a couple of years. The tickets they were allocated for next year were not under cover (their exisiting tickets are) so they rang the club to talk about it. They received the same "I don't care" attitude that people have been talking about here and were told they could not change seats. The end result was his wife spat the dummy and so they have decided not to renew and have cancelled their membership. There appears to be something very wrong in that department.

    What will tell the tale will be the seat change request, I have renewed (myself and better half) , and bought and paid for 2 seats ( daughter and grandson). Want them moved close together, having been a season ticket holder since Belmore 1982 , I am hoping for a decent response, so fingers crossed. First week of December will bring an answer

    Having said that, seems like there are people in there who have no comprehension of customer service , really piss poor as we try to rebuild after 2016
  • My seats have gone from under cover to not as well.

    Call them up and they tried to tell me they were under cover, i'm 5 seats in front of the drip line, not even close to being under cover.

    Standard shit deal from the shit dept.
