OK before I get into this topic allow me firstly to thank the Mods for deleting a blog made yesterday by some d*ck who thought it would be a great idea to create a blog with a potential spoiler for the new Star Wars movie as their blog's title.

To that person, please know your actions where *NOT* appreciated. Regardless if the spoiler you posted was true or not, the fact you thought it a good idea to try and piss a lot of people off for no reason other than you could, probably speaks volumes towards your character. I hope in the future you will think twice before doing something as stupid and utterly anti-social. I also hope you get a bad tooth ache on a long weekend, where you have planned to go away and you can't get to a dentist appointment until the following Wednesday afternoon, during peak hour traffic, oh and your car breaks down on the way, and it's raining).

Which I guess brings me to the point of this blog. In an online world which provides people the option of anonymity and no face to face interaction, why do some people feel this gives them a license to be d*cks?

Are they so starved for attention from others they don't care if their interactions with others are positive or negative?

Do they genuinely get some sort of pleasure out of causing misery to others?

Where they hurt in the past and now have a vendetta against the world?

Would they do the same thing if they where face-to-face?

Or were they simply born with the GDHS (Genetic D-Head Syndrome)?

Now I am not talking about people who have a differing of opinions, or spirited debates. What I am talking about here is pointless intentional bastardy designed to purely to piss others off.

Its the kind of person who goes down the beach and kicks over little kids sand castles for no other reason then to see a kid cry. The type of person who on the walk home from the pub thinks a good idea to break shop windows. To graffiti their shitty (no one can read) Tag over the top of genuine artwork.

To all those who feel the need to troll for no other reason than you can - go take a good long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself why do you want to be seen as a total D-head by the rest of society?

  • There's quite a few on this site. Maybe they can answer this for you.

  • I guess that there r some folks who instinctively enjoy hurting others because either they r hurt within themselves or maybe they just have personal problems. As the old saying goes, life isn't about being fair, its just about being what it is.

    • Hey Browny just to clarify the blog in question was not in the StarWars blog. Rather they created a blog with the Spoiler as the title (it has since been deleted by mods). This means when anyone opened up the blog section where all the blogs where listed the spoiler was instantly visible.

  • Yep, chopper said it best.
  • Ron, the last time you mentioned "the biggest opening in history" i'm pretty sure the conversation was centred around Snake's well publicized haemorrhoid issue (hope the grapes are clearing up nicely Snake :)   ).

    Merry Christmas Burgundy :)

  • Don't get me wrong Ron I am a big boy and didn't feel the need to go have a bath with the toaster after having seen the spoiler. The point of this blog is trying to find out why some people feel the need to be d*ck for no other reason than being a d*ck. The prime example being the person who posted the spoiler.

The comment I should 'harden up' raises an interesting point. Are we now so used to people being d*cks that we now accept it as the norm and anyone who doesn't think being a d*ck is right, needs to harden up?  Or maybe, just maybe, could it be the case that instead of some people needing to ‘harden up’ why not some people need 'to stop being d*cks’?

  • lol, all this talk about d*cks and hardening up is making me feel a tad uncomfortable :)

    • That's unlike you Kram. I thought the K-man was comfortable with his sexuality....
