What's our best 17?

This is the best side we can field. Looking at all the top team's Panthers, Storm and Sharks they have two powerful strong centres. I think having Niukore and Penisini in there creates a very powerful centre combo. I also think Penisini should be on the left side of the field. He needs more touches in attack and he also prefers playing on the left. He'd be able to set up Sivo similarly when we had Jennings. Waqa is definitely a better winger than he is a centre he's fast and strong but he also gives someone for us to target in the air. Having Papali'i and Niukore next to each other in attack would be a real handful and would cause problems in any teams defence. Lastly, Carty has to be picked imo. What has he done not to be picked? He's our best utility and he's never picked. Who's more likely to win you a game Jakey or Carty I think the answers pretty obvious.

I'd have Opacic or Perham in the centres with Penisini not Niukore as he'd be better coming off the bench. I also would have Rodwell instead of Kaufusi. The rest looks good

      I would start him - with JP/RCG/NB/MN starting we should dominate any team and start on the front foot. MN is one of our best and should be getting big minutes.

If you talking best 17 across the top 30, then Stone should be there. Proved he can be good utiltity value - edge, middle, hooker, centre. Acknowledge he's not quite there to earn a starting spot in any of the positions, but has less error, less brain farts and can hit in defence...
