What's happened to Matagi

Is it me or since the first game vs manly matagi has been really ineffective in putting it nicely, surely it's only matter of time before vave starts.Anyway wonder why his having less of an impact, like honestly the first game he was taking marty tapua one on one and now he can't even run over a half

  • And I'm sorry if this has been posted before
  • The problem is both him and Mannah are undersized, neither are a number 1 prop and they are being easily dominated.

The one bloke with decent size in our pack and he is incapable of starting because of his fitness.

  • I think he missed 7 tackles last week. I like to see him move back to the bench. Maybe Álvaro or vave start
  • He's not big enough to be consistently good and as such can't handle his opposite number. It was a bad error on BA's part to think that a pairing of Mannah and Matagi would be good enough to see us through the season. Our weakness upfront is primarily why we're not winning games, and I think that BA is finally starting to realise this.

    • I think that BA may have been factoring Terepo and F Pritchard into the middle mix before the season began

  • Agreed vave to start
  • We nipped this size problem in the bud when athur first came to the club I. 2014 after he dropped fui for jnr and brought in Pauli Pauli in the 17. Now we are right back to having a small pack which won't compeat for the 8 vs the top teams. Now more I think about it really makes sense how much we miss wicks and Jnr from last year.
    • U nailed it jack!
  • If we get meehan and stretch from roosters next year will be fine. You don't want to many big boys look what has happened to south's since interchange rules have changed.
    • Who's stretch ?
