What's going on in Brisbane?

The Brisbane Broncos have well and truly dropped off their perch after going down to the Tigers on Thursday night.

Their halves, Nikorima and Milford haven't gelled, fullback Darius Boyd looks like he'd rather be anywhere else and their much vaunted forward pack looks relatively aimless with a soft underbelly.

After five matches they sit equal 15th and look to be up against it in digging themselves out of the hole they've found themselves in.

What are the underlying issues?

Does Boyd need to be dropped and replaced by Milford at the back?

Are they having a hard time adapting to Seibold's methods?

Has their poor recruitment this season left them too inexperienced to bounce back, having lost more than 600 games of NRL experience last season and not replacing them?

  • Darius is missing big poppa bennett and the rest of the team is just crap. The end.

    • I think you are right there FP Darius is missing he father in law but im loving seeing the Bronco going bad i hope the Bronco come last the Cowboys come 2rd last but the NRL will not let that happen

  • Shut this blog down please. Their halves under performing is a matter of opinion and opinions shouldn’t be expressed.

  • They have a talented team and no excuse for there poor form. They should of let Bennet finish his contract. Affecting them big time. Seibold is a fish out of water and showing how crap he is. Would be a coaches dream to coach them.

    • Bennett wasn't the answer, these problems have been bubbling below the surface at the Broncos for a few years now. Even in 2017 when they finished 3rd, they really struggled to beat quality teams, especially away from home.

  • The Queensland sides have played 13 games this year and won 2. Yikes!

Obviously these sides aren't getting the usual leg ups and dodgy refereeing that they have always had in the past and are now being shown up for the shit that they always have been. They'll be flogged in State Of Origin as well.

It's like when Barry Gomersall stoped reffing origin matches and all of a sudden Queensland where rubbish and the blues rightfully dominated.

    Just joking :)

On a serious note, I'd imagine it's because most Queenslanders are the result of a hell of alot of inbreeding. Look at that Beattie bloke. What a Cletus. The gene pool has finally started to cave in on itself and things are pretty grim. Have a look at Ash Taylor, or some of those North Queenslanders. Jesus.

I can't see them clearing the gene pool and returning to some form of normalcy for several generations.1901924125?profile=RESIZE_710x

    • lol Kramer. If any Queenslanders were capable of stringing together a coherent sentence then I imagine you'd be in for a hell of a flogging on here, luckily for you they aren't. ;)

      • Lol.

Ah Queenslanders. They can dish it out - looks like they might have to cop it for a while. Life is good :))

    • Is that woman in the background, is she looking for a pistol?
