What's an acceptable outcome by 2020

So, we have lived through the debacle that was Scott Seward (of the puppet known as Scott Seward) making promises of delivering 2 premierships by 2020.

Now reviewing our recruitment for 2016 and beyond, what does this brains trust feel is an acceptable outcome in terms of performance over the next 5 years?

Culturally, it appears that BA is building a winning one, and for me a premiership by the end 2018 is a must.

Thoughts?

  • Need luck to win a premiership

But stable top four is more something you can promise
  • Agree Webby, id expect a premiership in the next 4 years, and i expect us to become regular top 8 material from now on as long as BA is here.

    • thats realistic snake and can't agree more , id be happy with a tittle and a top 4 team year in year out..

  • Sharp has already declared a GF win *NEXT YEAR*sigh*

    Sewer declared 2 by 2020.

Now if Sharp is correct then we will get 3 by 2020 and relive the Glory Days of the 1980s.

Unfortunately I may be a wee bit too old to still be around in 2060 to see history repeat itself once again.

  • Consistent top 8 from next year for 1-2 yrs.

Consistent top 4 from or there about after that.

Premiership in the next 5 yrs (but that takes luck too)

  • To compete for a premiership every year , anything else is not good enough.
  • Regular top 8 with at least a couple of GF appearances and I would be happy.

Basically, to be seen as a successful club both on and off the field.

  • What's a tittle?

Is it a miniature tit? If so, I vote for more than just a tittle.

    • I have heard that anything more than a mouthful is a waste.

I do not agree with this analogy at all.

  • So................................

How much will the NRL put back into development of the game and the salary cap? - or - will they simply absorb this extra money into their own salaries?
