At the start of this season most people were concerned with our hooker and left centre position. Fast forward to June and both positions look solid .
Now,assuming Waqa blake and Josh hodgson leave at seasons end and the money freed up from Nathan Brown and Jake, where to we spend that money?
Do we upgrade current players to keep them long term?
Or bring in a quality player noting some of our aging pack are beginning to get injured more frequently?
Personally I see our second row as a position of concern. Cartwright has been phenomenal but Lane, Davey, momoisea, Murchie and Doorey have struggled to find their best this season.

We need a depth halfback and hooker. We only have Moses at HB. Asi is a 1/3/4/6.At hooker we only Hands and JH.
This may sound meh but I think singing Kyle Flangan for the rest of the year to play 14 with Hands starting at 9 is the best option.
EA, you've now mentionned Flanagan as a 9 or 14 in 3 different blogs. Are you on some type of commission if we sign him LOL?
No for me BTW.
I think our backrow has plenty of depth dude. Carty, Lane, Matto, Davey, Doorey, Murchie is plenty.
Its annoying that Blake is not being played on the Wing because thats his best position and he could get practice there. We have Dunster as well for the wing and Lumelume as worst case.
However at centre, BA has chosen Russel and Blake who are both horrible at centre. I think Asi should be the depth centre when DB returns. However after him the depth is very concerning.
Need depth for wing, centre and hooker
We need depth in the outsides backs and hooker. Forwards are totally sweet.
Honestly, depending on how our year goes, not too much thankfully. Depending on if we re-sign Cartwright, another starting back-rower. A winger to contest with Russell would not hurt.
Main one would have to be a second hooker.
Whilst Carty is going great and Lane will return to the left edge, I'd love us to pick up a project X factor back rower. Someone in the Fifita/Kikau mould that can beat with speed and strength. He doesn't have to ready for 1st grade now, but be someone we can develop like we have Carty. Whilst Carty has the ball skills I'd love a damaging runner, runnning off Moses
We have him already AE his name is Moretti and he is close now, but next year dynamite.....we are heading into a dynasty era.
The only thing we lack is extreme pace, but we have got a fast developing centre with genuine pace and have the fastest half in the system, actually both our halves maybe the fastest in their respective positions, good goal kicking back up and juniors coming through.
This time next year we will be heading for our second premiership in a row and are odds to achieve it, we are becoming so dominant that some are talking about us going two better than great 80's side an aiming for 5 in a row.
Frank the Tank is so overcome with all the premierships he has retired and grows grapes in the red neck territory he bought after all his punting wins.
Its great being a Parramatta supporter, gets a bit boring winning all the time, you have feel sorry for these other sides trying to copy everything ........even Fongy has come around to agreeing that Moses and Brown can play a bit and Wiz still thinks those options will stop us winning 6 in a row!
Interesting Pops. Obviously Moretti is being used in the middle at the moment and looks impressive. I'd certainly be interested to see how he goes on the edge. I love your optimism which I too share. The way the fringe players have stood up this year has given rise to this confidence
