What Player, Excluding Foran, Will Have the Greatest Impact This Year?

It goes without saying that the performance of Foran will have a major bearing on our results this year. Outside of the dummy half, he will likely handle the ball more than any other player and control the direction of our team. His importance to the team is a no brainer.What I am interested in, is what other player will have a major impact on our fortunes?I could list nominees, and their relative merits, but I want to know everyone's thoughts about just one player.The player that I believe will have a big say in Parra's fortunes is Beau Scott.I have been really impressed with this bloke at training. To my way of thinking his professionalism, skills and toughness could be just as crucial in our premiership campaign as Foran will be.I reckon that there is a parallel between what Scott could bring to the team and what Ben Kennedy brought to Manly.So over to you. What one player do you see as having a major role in turning the Eels into finals contenders?

Corey for mine, stand out last, over his injuries and should have a greater impact with Forans inclusion.

He will be closely followed by Semi. Can he improve anymore than he has the last two years, if he can Semi may start breaking all sorts of records.

If he is not injured, he will have massive impact.
If he indeed is injured, the impact may be far more noticeable.

I know you already mentioned it, but hooker will be the most important.
Offensively Peats and IDG were average last year.
They really need to step up this year or see their position handed over to Kaysa or King.
I wonder if BA has considered playing Nelson off the bench this year, instead of carrying a second hooker?

  I agree Kurupt, with reduced interchanges coming up it's going to be a requirement to have a utility type player on the bench. So not sure about Nelson having the greatest impact, but his presence is vital IMO.

1 Semi again for sure, he will break all his own records this year, take that to the bank.

2. Mick Gordon will be an outstanding contributer this year imo

3 Scott, i cant see choc lasting out the year, i think he will retire and Beau will have a big year leading the pack

4 Mau will thrive with Foz
