It was a great game, but I am not sure if Beau Scott contributed that much.  He looked like an ant amongst land of the giants.I really have reservations about his signing for 2016 based on past form. I hope I am wrong, but I think we have once again pulled the wrong rein with his signing.

  • I take it you missed the first state of origin game then?
  • Beau Scott is never going to give you great statistics. He's going to get an average of 30 tackles per match and take about 6-8 hit-ups per match. What you do get from him is a good talker and someone who is going to give you his all for the 80 minutes. He's definitely most noted for his defence and every time a QLD playmaker went near him he would smash them with and without the ball. He may increase his hit-ups per game next year as we do like to use our edge forwards a fair bit with taking the ball up.

  • What we get from him is commitment.agression.great defense player .Good at reading the play and a great leader for our young forwards coming up and the ones that r already in fg.and a talker on the field personaly i like his signing . Will probs be a great addition with watmough both should stand up next year and really lead the forwards around
    • Sounds like what we were hoping for in Choc....

    • This is true
  • He was excellent, not sure why people are doubting him, maybe he should have put on a chip kick.
    • Even Fui can chip kick
  • He was solid hit hard and had the halves worried he will add abit of starch to our defense
  • I thought he was always putting great pressure on there 2 play makers (Thurston n DCE) & if you can make these blokes rush there game then your upsetting the running a of there back line. He enjoys getting hold of these blokes n smashing them and I enjoyed watching it. You need different blokes in the team doing there perspective jobs n I think he does his job pretty good.
    • Scott does do a great job of scaring the play makers. At one point Thurston hesitated and kicked the ball out on the full. It was because he had someone rushing up on him, shortly after getting smashed by one of the blues forwards.
