Asi is a back up fullback or 6, not a back up organiser. We haven't got a back up organiser as the panthers had very good back up 7s for Cleary and still stated on top.
Asi doesn't have the long kicking game or organisational skills . He doesn't even play in the 7 position on a usual basis. How hard is that to figure out.
Look at the panthers they had the foresight to get O'Sullivan and Jack Cogger who both filled in with class when Cleary was out. We have nobody. We should have done more to keep Sanders for this situation.
