What is in a number?

I thought the ARL rules states2 right wing3 right centre4 left centre5 left wingBut we and others eg Easts have the left and right reversedBut some like I think Dragons have as above - seems like Taka and Hof will be facing Lafai and Nightingale who also have numbers 4 and 5?Much obliged if anyone can explain this confusion

  • 2 and 3 are left side, 4 and 5 are right. That's the way I have always known it to be.
  • See page 9 of above link
  • Actually that makes sense if we just swapped 3and 4 because Jennings likes 3
And Dragons have Lafai and MacDonald on the left and Nightingale and Aitken on he right
    Doesn't explain Roosters though

Gee do I have to do everything myself!
