What is an inconsequential stat do you swear by?

Whether it be relating to our beloved Eels or another aspect of your life.

Mine is - I have been a member for quite a while and the team has never made the 8 if I am unable to make it to the season launch. The season the over earlier with more drama if I wasn't invited to the launch (like this year).
