What if Tahu if his head gets back in the right place ?

Looks like there are more twists in the tale of the Timana Tahu saga i know alot of people on this site think that Timana is a cry baby and that he should leave the Eels but i personally be would more than happy to have Timana at the Eels in 2011 if he gets his head in the right place and is ready to support our club moving foward. I feel that Tahu thinks that he has earned his spot in the team through his past achievements and thats not how its going to work. Think about it is trying our ass off trying to find a center to replace Tahu really worth it when Tahu is a quality center although with an attitude probelm i am all for having Tahu in our team like i said if he gets his head back in place by the new year but he has to earn his spot along with others that want his position such as guys like : Jacob Loko , Chris Walker , Karl Filga and others. Tahu is really i 50/50 case right now i think because if he leaves us he will probably be saying goodbye to the Nrl for good. Look say what like about the guy he's is a game breaking player and i hope he stays with us.

  • I agree mate.
  • I really hope he sorts things out and gets back to training before it's too long, fair enough he needs some time to fix issues but as said he can't be kicking it back all holidays while the other guys are killing themselves at training to be better.

But at the same time, he's the type of player that if we did let go and he got his head right and someone else snapped him up.. It'd come back to bite us on the ass no doubt.
  • I think the players should decide his fate as they are the ones that are training their guts out..... if anyone deserves a say it is them!!! I hope he does sort his sh*t out....but he is running out of time!
  • Enough is enough.

We paid HUGE $$$ for Tahu and he didn't produce in 2010, then again neither did the team so it was hard to judge him based on one year otherwise Hayne, Mannah, Horo, B Smith and only a few others would have been the only ones to stay based on their 2010 performance.

So we all decided to start fresh for 2011 as you do and guess what???? Same old crap different day. Look i am not putting the guy down i have met him and seems ok etc and i have no doubt that other priorities are disturbing his life at the moment and guys let's be honest as much as you do or don't like your job, family & health are #1 and he has chosen where his priorities lie. I can't knock him for that i would do the same.

For the benefit of the team though it's time to cut him loose and give someone else a crack. I would much rather have players on our team that give 150% each week and still come up short than have far greater talent that are either inconsistent or don't produce week in week out. Probably the reason as to why Inu & Mateo aren't at the club anymore...........................sad really because those 2 can be one of the best in the game at their position if they want to be but we can't keep putting up with excuses and mediocrity.

When someone is down you support them but i think Parramatta have supported Tahu enough and he hasn't returned the same so i am sorry to say but good luck Tahu with whatever is next in your life but it shouldn't be with us.
  • I still think its a 50/50 case with him who knows what he's doing.
  • We should tell him what he is doing...................SEEYA
