What happens with the TPA's now

Quick Question, Now that the TPAs have been deemed illegal , What happens to the players who have them??

Does this mean a player like Foran or Peats walk away because they arent being paid them??

Do the current TPA's still stand?? or does the fact that we are now over the cap mean that club has to pay the TPA???

  • I think all current TPA's have been included in our Cap which is why we are now nearly 600k over the cap as we speak.

  • Where the club has guaranteed the TPA, it will be paid and included in the cap. Forme will get what he was promised. Where the club didn't guarantee the payment, Forme will have to earn the TPA to be paid it.

The only real hope is Wantmore gets a true real new injury and is medically discharged back to those terrible habibs on the northern beaches. But he would probably have to wash first.

  • The players WILL be paid there amounts basically by releasing them to other clubs your asking them to take up part of that fee so it is balanced out even across all salary caps if that makes sense? We will be the biggest losers out of this as over the short term but we probably should be since we should not have the squad we do as is if we didn't buy Jennings we would be sweet now

"Sorry should have clarified, 1998 NRL era.
I stuck to what i knew best. I love Luke Burt, still my favourite ever player, hence the dp. He didn't have that flashy skills like Hayne and was undersized but to accomplish 260+ games is an achievement…"

"Can you define what era / year your modern day starts from.
I took Jarryd Hayne on your survey, but I also loved Luke Burt as a team man. Luke Burt reminded me so much of little Paul Taylor, did so much work but never got the credit he deserved."
