Questioning the performance of players and coaches after 2 straight loses in the start of a NRL season and one being a 54-0 thrashing on top of a 31 year Premiership drought IS not losing FAITH, Salty Eel! Do you think a farmer wouldn’t complain, question and whinge after having NO RAIN on his property after 31 years of drought? I can tell you he would have packed up and left long ago!
I think faith started to dip at around the 70th unanswered point scored against us in the last two weeks.
Faith is all good, but blind faith in the face of overwhelming evidence is borderline stupidity.
I love the Eels and that will never change, but after the past 2 weeks my faith in this current squad is severely eroded. All of that can be turned around with a few performances that are as overwhelmingly good as our last two performances were overwhelmingly bad.
