What EELS players have you seen in public?

I thought I'd start a thread on which EELS players you have seen out in public. And if you spoke with them, what they were like etc...Today I saw Jarrod Hayne on Church St (Parramatta). He was wearing these big sun glasses, trackies, and a sloppy Joe. He looked like a musician - kinda like a rock star. I was going to ask him when he was going to resign with Parra - but he was talking on a mobile phone, so I didn't interrupt him. He then ducked into a coffee shop.Last week I saw Eric Growth Senior eating Fish & Chips in Castle Hill (reading the sport section in the Daily Telegraph) & a few months ago I saw Nathan Hindmarsh & Luke Burt at a park in Glenhaven. Nathan's kids were playing on the swings near my daughter’s school. I also saw Brett Kenny at Woolworths at Dural.Have you seen any past or present players - and where? What were they like?

I saw Jarryd Hayne at Castle Towers, pretty much wearing exactly what Feel the Eel said, had his hood up to hide a bit I suppose. Didnt say anythign to him, he was with a mate.

  • I saw Grothe at Sunshine Plaza in QLD when he went "missing" from training for the Australian squad.

I had a few beers with Jim Dymock at the pub not far from Parra Stadium after they touched up Melbourne in 2000. Wagon, Moodie, Hodgson and Stu Kelly were outside. There were a few others there but I was too pissed to remember who. :)

I had a beer at Brisbane Ekka with a one time ex-eel, Arthur Beetson.
