The guitar solo in Comfortably Numb is my favourite Pink Floyd moment.
Seriously think I would consider giving up a nut to be able to play a guitar half as good as Gilmour.

When I saw Roger Waters a few years ago, he had a young guy touring with him. This young guy stood atop the scaffolding and absolutely nailed the Comfortably Numb solo. It was perfect.
I said to a mate, " How is this guy doing? He's touring the world with Waters, gets to play the best ever solo every night, absolutely nails it and not only that, the bloke must be 25 yrs old?
I'm not saying they are the best but they are a necessity in any collection.
