What could have been if we were playing at parra?

Just having a look at past "home" games and wondering would we have won any that we lost at ANZ if they were played at Parra. We got comprehensively beaten by the sharks 20-6 which I don't think we would have won. We lost in the last few minutes to the raiders and I think it would have gone the other way had it been at Parra. Wonder where we'd be on the ladder if we weren't at ANZ? Thoughts?

  • I'm not sure on whether we would have more wins, although that Canberra game you pointed out is a stand out.

I am, however sure our for and against would be better. I am also sure we would have got more penalties.
    • Coulda shoulda woulda lol if only they had waited one more year !!
    • Haha true
  • Pfft... our recent record at Pirtek is worse than our recent record at ANZ
    • That may well be but that's only been recent . I still think having a real home (fortress) is worth its weight in gold when the pointy end of the season comes , especially with a second half of the season lift .
The reality remains there's no good time for an upgrade ( except for a run of wooden spoons). Maybe the knights should do their other stand now? Will suggest it to Matt next time I see him lol
  • We've been good at ANZ I reckon - especially when you consider how woeful we were there for many years before last year.

It will put us in good stead for the big end of season games :)

  • It shouldn't matter.
  • I thought it would matter, it didn't.
  • Agree Chief...I wasn't feeling great about the shift but it doesn't seem to have made much difference.

But damn it's hard to get any real atmosphere with a crowd of 15K in a 85K stadium. Why people need to be sent to the far corners and middle tiers or above is ridiculous!

Fill the concourse and first tiers and turn the lights off on the rest of the seats!!! They know how many tickets are pre sold to know if they might need to stick with allocated seats.
    • Gosford maybe! Not to far away, train access.
