Yes but Joseph would be on a tiny amount. You can have bad players if you are paying them bugger all. The problem is when a player is on a lot of money and playing badly, for example Darcy Lussick.

No, that's wrong. Anthony Watmough asked for a release from Manly but they still had to pay him money this year. Unless he was retiring he would have to be paid at least what he was on at the Knights.
