Penrith have jumped Parra to top of ladder last night after their win moving to 11 points over Parra 10. On learning this news , at first it gave me a slightly nervous feeling as Parra won the very first game back in March this year and , with their great for and against, as well as unbeaten win , record to last weeks Roosters clash , have had the highest competition points and almost always number 1 , right up until last nights game being of course the start of current round , with Parra and 13 other teams yet to play ..... . Sure the overall position at this round 7 should adjust itself with Parra still on top should they beat Canberra tomorrow night .... However a loss to Canberra would see Parra drop as low as 5th depending on other results .... If we drop to 5th it will seem like 2019 again.!!!! In that case I am hoping our drop in the ladder will only be temporary with the mighty Eels moving back to the top with a couple of quick wins . Go Parra tomorrow night !!

they leap frogged us for 24hrs before we played Manly too I think but we regained top spot, wait and see what happens tomorrow night
Thanks Addict . I think you are correct from memory . Anyway a win tomorrow night avoids Parra being up Wolf Creek lol .
I wouldn't be surprised to see the Eels drop down below 8th spot. The game last week against the Rorting Roosters was a disgrace in terms of refereeing. The Roosters should never have won by that much, Jennings should not have been sent to the bin and Nathan Brown should not be facing two weeks. All these types of results can affect the teams mental state which in turn affects on field games. I kind of expect a few losses coming the Eels way.
Troll
Is that your favourite word Brett?. Next to the following phrases:
1) 'This will interesting'
2) 'What a dope
3) 'I know everything'
'Troll' would be your most used word.
You sure about that. Think Penrith are a top side.
We have had more fair refereeing than I can remember in recent years Monto. There will always be the odd controversial refereeing but , except maybe for the salary , do you want the job ? The thing is Parra seem to have matured and now get on with the game instead of feeling crap after a bad decision as they are currently less troubled with adverse decisions due to their mindset winning belief . That mind set together with less often than previous years poor execution ( poor passes from Parra players are now rare and second phase play more consistent ) , mean they are set to continue winning and I think as a result refs will be looking as much at the opposing players for infringements particularly given the removal of a lot of the previous sloppiness from our game. IMO we are likely quickly heading down the path towards the refs treating us the same as the Roosters who ( apart from WH ) seem to have a lower infringement record than many teams .
Driza, Monto has a common sense filter, as in it filters common sense out, so all he would hear is ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Ha yes Brett . Inflexible mindset .
You have a very bad habit Brett of the talking in the third person. Perhaps you dislike the other 2.
