It would be so easy for this team just to throw the season in, however, this team is showing the same kind of fight you would expect of a team fighting for the eight in the final weeks.
Of all the things that has made me proud of this roster this year, this is probably it. When it would be all too easy to throw in the towell, they're fighting even harder.

100% spot on mate. Wins against the Titans, Bulldogs (Rd 9), Knights and Manly have all been games we looked like losing and tried hard to do so, but the defence stood firm and got us over the line. Resilience like this I have not seen in an Eels side for many, many years. Character building stuff for next year and giving the fans something to be proud of. Yeah the boys!
The daily Telecrap must have an axe to grind in the article "Parramatta Eels defeat Gold Coast Titans 22-12: Five things we learned" all 5 points were about the Titans, not a word about the starch the eels showed to rack up a hard win despite the adversity whipped up by there biased reporting
