    He did play better , but that's what I expected for his Ka-Ching anyway :-))

  He tried too hard in the first half of the season. Playing more consistently now.

  Only concern are his injuries which he seems to carry over from previous weeks.

  He was great...we can see why brad Arthur signed him...hope he keeps it going.

    As tremendous as he played, he's just as important to us in inspiring the pack to move up in defence.

    His leadership is instilling the culture we had hoped for when we signed him.

  Thought it was his best game for us, loved it. 

  Don't know if it's been posted, but the article on NRL website where he talks about the, 'Eels players call secret meeting to back coach' proves he backs his words up on the field...

  "It's good to get the win for Brad and to show how much us as players want to play for him and what it means to us," Watmough said.

  "We got together early before Brad even knew us players had spoken. 

  "The players got together and we said 'there are people trying to tear us apart, and what we believe in and what we're working for'."

  As a result the players decided "we're not going to stand for it," he said.

  I thought he just ran a bit straighter. Maybe he was trying too much earlier on, trying to ball play for instance. Ditto Pauli P, who seemed to realize his sheer size can be enough and he can save the fancy stuff.

  Choc earnt his keep! Was so good to see him celebrate the win with the boys. Seeing him lift BA up in the dressing room after the team song was a good moment.

  I understood that when he came to the club he needed a lot of work on his knee. He spoke to BA and said he wanted to do the pre season and work with the young forwards because that was what we bought him for. He is playing in pain every week. I think he is up for shoulder and knee surgery but he keeps giving on the field and on the training tack. A lot of work in defence goes unnoticed.
